Stage IV: The cancer spreads to distant organs, such as the bladder, rectum, lungs, liver or bones through metastases.
Method of treatment in uterine cancer
Treatment of uterine cancer depends on which stage the cancer has reached. Because if this disease is detected in time then it can be treated through surgery.
This includes hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), and may also be followed by radiation therapy. If this cancer is detected in stages III and IV, it can be cured through surgery, chemotherapy and hormone therapy. Surgery is not possible in such cases.
